Makita 1650W 255mm Compound Mitre Saw
The 255mm (10") compound saw (LS1040) features a 1,650W motor with a no-load speed of 4,600rpm. The saw can bevel 45-degrees left, with a mitre range of 45-degrees left and right. The blade case of the LS1040 is connected to the base by a rigid arm meaning the saw can cut more accurately. The saw also features a movable sub fence that allows material to be better supported across multiple cutting positions. The LS1040 comes standard with a dust bag that can be mounted at the rear of the blade case to capture debris, or in place of the dust bag an optional dust extractor can be connected. The saw is also fitted with an electric brake to rapidly slow wheel rotation when the switch is released.

* Safety Switch - The safety switch on top of the handle must be pressed & held to unlock the trigger & operate the saw.
* Dust Bag - The dust bag that comes standard can easily be removed & emptied, the dust bag can also be substituted for optional dust extraction.
* Bevel Lock Lever - The lock lever at the back can be loosened to allow the rear arm to bevel left up to 45-degrees.
