The 40V Max XGT Orbital Reciprocal (JR002G) delivers rapid speeds for cutting and demolition applications. The orbital cutting motion provides speeds up to 35% faster than models without the orbital cutting feature. The Makita-built variable speed brushless motor delivers between 0-3,000 strokes per minute with XGT motor technology delivering up to 48 cuts per charge in 355 x 45mm LVL using one XGT 4.0Ah Battery (sold separately). The JR002G is equipped with AVT - Anti-Vibration Technology, a counterweight mechanism drastically reduces vibration under load with vibration levels of only 8.5m/s^2. for ultimate comfort during use. Convenience features include a large two-finger variable speed trigger, electric brake, built-in L.E.D. light and a tool-less blade change for faster blade installation and removal. This is a Combo/Kit. Batteries & Charger are Included.

The 40V Max Single Port Rapid Charger provides fast charging for Makita high output 40V Max XGT batteries. The newly designed optimum charging system is able to achieve optimised fast charging by feeding real time battery data, such as battery condition & temperature with the charger. Dual cooling fans significantly reduce charging time as both the battery & charging circuit are cooled, allowing the charger to perform consecutive fast charges.
Ensuring users have are able to stay connected with the 18V LXT platform the DC40RA is compatible with the charging adaptor ADP10 (optional accessory). With this adaptor the DC40RA is able to rapid charge 18V LXT batteries up to 27% faster than 18V rapid charging models. Ensuring the battery spends more time working & less time sitting on the charger.
